For a vacation park and campsite with animation you have come to the right place at Sahara Stay. Our other vacation park, Strandpark Vlugtenburg, has an animation team that offers year-round animation for children aged 4 to 12. This is only a 10 minute walk from Sahara Stay.

Start your day actively with sports & games in the fresh outdoors. Do you dare the challenge? Or come crafting and baking with the animation team, where rain or sun makes no difference – there is always something fun to do!

Evenings get extra cozy around the campfire, where you can roast marshmallows together. And when the stars appear, it’s time to go wild at the children’s disco – swing until you can’t take it anymore! With the entertainment team, every day is a party for young and old!

1. When is there animation?

Throughout the year there is animation on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with the exception of January through March. In the vacations there is even animation almost all week long!

2. Where does the animation take place?

Entertainment always gathers at Play Cafe Sweet, next to the big playground and opposite Salt Café. This is only a 10-minute walk from Sahara Stay.

3. Do I need to register?

It depends on the activity! In our app you can see our program. If you need to sign up for an activity it will be there. Signing up is very easy via the app or at the front desk.

4. Does the animation always go on?

Entertainment goes on almost all the time. If it rains we think up fun indoor activities!

5. Does it cost money to participate?

No, you can participate in most activities completely free of charge. If an activity costs money, like the pizza party, it will be mentioned in the program.

6. What ages is it for?

Beach park Vlugtenburg has an animation team that provides year-round entertainment for children ages 4 to 12.. Every Wednesday morning we have a special babysitting morning where children from 1 year are welcome!

7. Should I put on old clothes?

Activities can range from crafts to baking to mini-disco to outdoor games. So clothes that you can move around in and get dirty are definitely recommended!
