A surf village full of stories

Sahara Stay is a 5-minute walk from the beach, against the dunes. You step right onto the beach for your surfing lessons. V-beach is a hidden gem on the South Holland coast. Vlugtenburg beach is located below Scheveningen and just above Hoek van Holland.

The grounds of Sahara Stay are completely decorated in an Eastern theme. A small piece of African peace, warmth and cheerfulness on the Dutch coast. If that doesn’t make for atmospheric evenings! The campground is beautiful, neat, well-maintained, quiet, and intimate. The 4-person tent was clean and comfortable, equipped with all the amenities. Good beds, a shower, and a sink. A fully equipped kitchen with more than enough plates, glasses, silverware, and kitchen utensils. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely hostess, who helped us with everything we asked for. We enjoyed sitting on the porch—drinking coffee in the morning sun, and in the shade in the afternoon and evening, which was perfect given the warm weather.
