Cycling route through the Westland along Dune & Garden

This Cycle Route: Dune & Garden leads you along the beautiful dunes and greenhouses of Westland.
Thanks to its length (22 km) the route is easy to do on a normal bike, without much cycling training in the legs.
Nice exercise and seeing some of the surroundings, that’s what you want!

The bike route

The Bike Route: Dune & Garden really needs little explanation, a beautiful bike ride through the dunes and greenhouse area of Westland; also known as the Glass City.
This bicycle tour is 22 kilometers long, a nice distance to see plenty.
For € 1.00 a booklet of this route is available at Rotterdam Tourist Information Hoek van Holland.
But since the route passes by our park, we recommend starting here. Here find the route, you can print it out or open it in the route.nl app.
Junction 51 is near the vacation park, so that’s a good starting point.

Naturally Westland

For everything about honey and bees, you have to be at Natuurlijk Westland, which is where you’ll visit during the Duin & Tuin Route.
They make and sell their own honey products.
A delicious experience for the real sweet tooth.
Natural Westland also has their own terrace, optimal enjoyment during a nice bike ride.

Center of 's-Gravenzande

In addition, the bicycle route also leads you through the beautiful center of ‘s Gravenzande, also known as the Broad Village.
It has a cozy center with various places to eat and drink.
For example, stop by Eetcafé Witte or de Buren!
Guaranteed a deliciously filled stomach or a nice drink.

Sports enthusiasts who want to see more of Westland.
The length of 22 kilometers makes the route doable on a normal bicycle.
As you go down past the park reception desk, immediately turn left.
At the end of that road is the trail.
The bike tour does not need to be booked.
Of course, a bicycle is crucial to participate in the tour.
If you do not have a bike, you can easily borrow one at the reception (€12 per day).
It is important that you finish the bike ride, because then you will see your paid deposit of €25 returned.
Do you prefer an electric bike?
Then it will cost you €25 per day.
