The bike route

The 52 km bicycle tour begins and ends at Vlugtenburg Holiday Park.
You ride through the forest on the outskirts of Hoek van Holland, a little later you come across the boulevard.
Here you have a beautiful view over the water, the many ships and the Rotterdam harbor.
Further along the Nieuwe Waterweg you will see some lighthouses standing on the quay.
You ride along the Oranjeplassen, a nature reserve rich in birds.
You also bike along the Vlietlanden, a pristine lake area.

You cycle past both the Kraaiennest and the Wollebrand, two quiet recreational areas with a pond.
A nice place to catch your breath and seek the coolness of the water or the shade.

The bike tour does not need to be booked.
Of course, a bicycle is crucial to participate in the tour.
If you do not have a bike, you can easily borrow one at the reception (€12 per day).
It is important that you finish the bike ride, because then you will see your paid deposit of €25 returned.
